Celebrating 15 Years!
In 2011, Cal Morris set out to create a space where he could combine his love for reading and coffee into a cozy space that felt like home. To do this, Cal decided to open Church Street Coffee & Books alongside a team of skilled baristas and bakers. With a main lobby featuring an open community table and an upstairs often compared to a comforting living room, it was the perfect spot to fill with his favorite books.
Over the years, Sri and Cal worked together to create an environment that encouraged people to try new things, like the breakup cookie. Taking off with a blast, the breakup cookie became a renowned treat, even making its way on to the food network. Since then, Church Street has found its footing by offering great books and even better treats, all while feeling like you’ve been welcomed home.
